I don't care at all what Quebec does to try to enhance their mini nationalism. It just simply doesn't bother me. They have a complex, and it's a bit understandable. They're trying not to be assimilated. Let them. It's Canada. They're free to do what they want. I hope they want to stay in Canada, and that's about the extent of my worries about Quebec and frenchies. Why does the rest of Canada get so indignant when Quebec does their thing? I used to get pissed off, too. Then one day I realized that there's nothing to get upset about.
I mean, it may seem like they're doing things like this to be anti canadian, but I think they do this because they're just really proud to be French Canadian. And then when the rest of Canada get's pissed right off, they get a bit retro-actively angry, and the wall goes up a little bit more.
Maybe the rest of Canada needs to just relax a bit and stop getting offended by their alternative source of pride.
Or maybe they're really just doing it to piss off the rest of Canada. They just wake up in the morning and think about ways to annoy us.
