You know how hockey works, you predicted it yourself.
The Kelly trip was immediately nullified by the Orpik high stick. That high stick might not be called (believe it or not) if there was no Bruin penalty first.
Then there's a delay of game and then a marginal too many men to even that up. After that the refs decided they would call nothing.
It's consistent alright, consistently bad. Hockey's the only sport that does this.
