Jeremy Wotherspoon comes out of retirement

In case you haven’t heard, the greatest Canadian speed skater of all time is coming out of retirement and strapping on the skates once more this year. Jeremy Wotherspoon, my new brother in law, and one of my best friends is once again going to be my competition. I have mentioned in many interviews that Jeremy is the reason that I have been able to have some success in this sport; training with him for the 3 years leading into Vancouver taught me so much about elite athletic performance and what it takes to reach the top.

I hope he does well. I remember meeting his dad many, many, years ago when Jeremy first moved to Calgary to train.
