If guys want to be stupid about wearing visors, that's on them. It would take the majority of them ten games to get used to wearing one, and they'd be good for the rest of their careers, and the odds of a serious career ending eye injury would be dramatically reduced.

All these guys seem to play just fine in international events when wearing one anyway, I'm not sure why this has taken so long. And I know there's a certain element of machismo that goes along with this, but that's a stupid cop out of an explanation. Go tell football players they're p*ssies for wearing cages in a sport that doesn't feature a small, hard to see object travelling at 90 miles an hour and prone to randomly changing direction.

I know if I were the owner who spent 98 million on Ryan Suter, I would hope the least he could do is throw on 98 bucks worth of the most advanced, lightweight invisible plastic he could find to increase his chances of staying healthy enough to collect on that 98 million.
