I think it is hard to muster up those guys since Calgary hasn't been able to do it over the past 5-6 years (and maybe longer).
Florida for one needs to add big contracts to help them get to the cap floor. Getting a guy like Myers whose cap hit is more than actual salary helps them all that much more.
Buffalo is in a much better spot to move up if they want and the only way Feaster can try to beat their offer is gutting the young assets we already have (Brodie, Baertschi, next years pick).
