That's true, more or less (I'm seeing slightly different numbers, but close enough), but the Bruins have also been in the bottom half of the league in the number of times short-handed over the past 3 years, which is suspicious considering their style of play. The only real conclusion that you can draw from those numbers is that the refs tend to swallow their whistles during Bruins games, which I think generally favors them. The officiating during Bruins games since the bombing has been even more in their favor, in my opinion, but there's really no way to prove or disprove that based on numbers.
I will admit, though, that I'm a little biased against them. There's just something about having their fans threaten to kill me for wearing a Flames jersey in the Gahden that left a bad taste in my mouth.
