Kind of surprised that some posters feel like Iggy is letting the Pens down. Pitt scouted Iggy for months and knew what they were getting. They knew it was not 2004, granted before the trade, some CP posters did not. My guess is that they are quite happy with Iggy and will re-sign him.
I am bitter that Iggy nixed the Boston deal. That said i think the flames are very lucky that he chose the "wait and see" approach last summer. If ownership could have had it their way, Iggy would have been re-signed for 4-5 years at probably "Doan" type money. Hell some posters wanted to offer him $6 million a year. I think the flames dodged a bullet.
