It's funny how Iginla has probably lowered his value in the marketplace by being traded to the Penguins, and potentially winning the cup. Based on his contract going forward alone, he would have been a lot better off sticking with the Flames and finishing with 35-40 points on a non-playoff team.
Will someone even offer him 4 mill per season? Maybe Doan is actually the better player currently... I can't believe I'm saying that, but it's probably the case.
