The last four Flames seasons have been essentially a waste as the organization accomplished nothing all because of the sole focus on one player over the entire team.
Anyway this isn't the thread to discuss this so I won't go on any further but if there's anything more annoying than posters taking shots at Iginla it's his White Knights coming to his rescue. He's gone and we don't have to argue about him anymore.

Great post. His best years are behind him and the speed of the game has caught up with him. Iginla should have been moved years ago when we could have gotten something better in return.
It's hard to watch him playing a reduced role and it has to be hard on Iginla. Never easy watching a star player in the twilight of his career.
