He didn't ask to be traded to a specific team, but according to Feaster, Regehr told Feaster that he's open to being traded and would work with him. I'm not sure if there was actually a "leak", but the draft is probably the worst time to broker a deal and have it remain secret until announced. Not really sure if it's bush league. It was a done deal apparently as much as the Iginla to Boston deal was a done deal. Only that Feaster is only willing to accept one offer and Buffalo really wanted Regehr and did everything to convince him to accept the trade.
