Would NHL teams not have enough staff to conduct interviews? What would their scouts be making a year? Not enough gms, assistant gms, coaches and scouts to do interviews? They couldn't go a hire a group of professional HR consultants at $500/hr for a couple of days to conduct interviews???
Buffalo paid the Flames $3M for a 2nd round pick..... The amount that they ate of Kotaliks contract PLUS got a lop-sided trade of Regehr for Butler, Rammo and Byron.
If the Flames are not prepared...Did not interview them. when someone falls through to their #97 pick that they did not expect to be there then I think I have identified a problem.

Really? Outsourcing player interviews? To professional HR consultants and not hockey people? That's total keyboard diarrhea.
