I am very excited for a game I found on Kickstarter called Xia: Legends of a Drift system.

One of my favorite games when I was growing up was Wing Commander: Privateer. For me it was the first open-world sandbox game where you could fly around to many different places and do whatever you wanted: trade cargo, hunt pirates, be a pirate, etc. Other examples are Elite, Freelancer, Sundog: Frozen Legacy, the list goes on.

Finally there's a board game which looks to bring that experience to the tabletop. Its got a lot of really cool ideas and even the prototype minis for the ships look fantastic. Very excited for this one!
