I received a copy of Photoshop Elements 2 with my digital camera a couple of years ago. It's basically a Photoshop 'Lite' which in a lot of ways is good because the full blown PS is rather complicated for an amateur IMHO. I've been able to do a lot of very cool editing with PS Elements.
They're up to version 4 now. It's about $99.00 or so.
