I could see something like that. My other post was made because i have seen a lot of posters saying they think Tanguay could get a 2nd round pick.
I like Ruutu but paying him $4.75 million until 2016 would hurt. I think he would be 34 by the time the contract ended. I doubt he would have much trade value for the last couple of seasons.
