I don't know about Lecavalier, but wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Flames pick up Malone in a salary dump. Might even get a pick out of it.

There's confidence, and then there's moon-faced hope. Ramo has 46 games of NHL experience. Berra has 0. You don't hand a couple guys like that the starter and backup positions, unless your goal is to lock in a lottery pick next year.

The Flames will have to take back contract, or eat some of Tanguay's contract, if they want to move him.
