Call me optimistic, and totally ignoring the goaltending consistency next year, but I don't see this team doing worse than the this year, assuming Feaster does even an average job (even for him) with the money spent.
This should be the year they do what it takes and turn the book to a new page. Get McKinnon and whoever falls to #6, and sort it all out over the next 2 weeks to spend some of the money they have. If FLA or COL thinks we will stink next year and get 2 first round picks this year and a top 6 one next year, and that makes the deal, you do it. As I said, take on a Campbell or Versteeg contract or any player FLA wants to dump...whatever it takes.

Exactly what superstar player are we picking up with all that cap space? How are we convincing them this team is a better option then all there other options? This team was in a lottery position with Iggy/Bou/Kipper on the team, and we're replacing there production and adding enough on top of that to take a decent step forward in the standings next year?
