It still kills me that they wasted a 3rd round pick on Zach Stortini. It is no secret that the Oilers have severely struggled out of the first round. Other then the Eberle pick you could probably say they haven't fared well out of the top ten. Which speaks directly to why the team has been as atrocious for almost a decade.
Regarding the picks, is it ever exciting seeing the potential talent injection into the prospects pool. I know it may be overly optimistic thinking all three picks are shoe ins to make the Flames in a few years, but looking at the different potential scenarios it is hard not to get giddy.
