don't need another CB with Verts/Kaboul/Dawson/Caulker and like said above, it's a world cup year, he's not going somewhere to sit on the bench
Vertonghen has been playing LB for Belgium just so they can fit him, Verm, and Kompany on the field
if Verm has another season next year like this year, they likely move Vertonghen to the middle and put Lombaerts at LB
