I don't think he's particularly overhyped. He's a speedster with dynamic offensive abilities. He's worthy of being a 1st rounder on his own merits, it has nothing to do with his father or just that one pass.
That said I'd prefer we grab some bigger players as we do already have Baertschi and Gaudreau as small forwards.
