Actually, I was very careful not to put words in your mouth. I set out what seems to be the alternate theory based on your idea that this firing was about his alcohol addiction, and then specifically asked you if this is what you think.
If I was putting words in your mouth, I would have assumed that this was your argument without asking you to confirm it.
