ALL RUSSIANS ARE THE SAME
Thats some of the most bigotted B.S. I've ever heard.
Every player is an individual, who should be scouted and analyzed as an individual.
There is no truth to Russians being more lazy, or unwilling to work on their game more than any other country, just look at numerous Canadians like a Pierre Turgeon, or a Mike Ribeiro, or a Patrick Marleau who have repeatedly been playoff busts.
Analyze each guy as an individual not because of where they were born.
Jesus, its 2013, not 1955. I would have thought society progressed past this bullcrap.
The ONLY factor to consider when drafting a Russian is the economic one and the lure of the money they can make playing close to home, thats it.... KHL and business, because this sport is a business at the end of the day.

Never said all Russians are the same. You might want to re-read my post.
I'll re-cap for you:
I said Russians grew up playing a more individual style game. That is structural to their system and has nothing to do with individuals all being the same.
I said many Russians (not all) have shown to be less inclined to work on their defensive aspects (more or less true of any set of individuals, of course). But growing up with a more individual style seems to cause some consternation with learning a team game. Again, not an individual or personal thing, simply a function of their system.
As Bend it like Bourgeois said, the difference with Russians, as a group, is that they have a more readily available plan B, a path of lesser resistance, for those less determined.
At no time did I ever say or imply that they would ALL take advantage of that.
No bigotry in my post at all - maybe try to understand a post before you rant on it.
