I think Canadian multiculturalism is off to a much better start than Europe's ever was because it goes back to a more racist time where people didn't find it odd to group people of a certain group into one area.

uh what? Cole Harbour Nova Scotia had a "black town" where they were forced to live, native reservations, internment of Japanese Canadian citizens, the Komagatamaru, deplorable conditions for Chinese workers on the railway.....I don't know if our start was that great.
