One thing I could see happening is Tampa trading down a few spots if they know that Nichushkin is still a possibility. They likely know that neither Nashville or Calgary would want to take the risk on a Russian and they (Tampa) could still draft him while picking up another asset by trading down.
I feel Carolina holds a lot of power there though as I am not sure how Russianphobic they are. If they are unlikely to pick Nichushkin, I think Tampa would entertain trading down 3rd to 6th. Yzerman loves his Russians and came from a system that had a lot of luck with them.
If I am Feaster, I am on the phone with Tampa and Carolina right now to see if there is a deal there.
