Yup he lives here in the summer, its not an uncommon thing for him to show up at various events going on in "downtown" St. Albert during the summer.
That said, if Ryan Smyth didn't sign with the Flames 4-5 years ago simply because he knew how poorly it would go over with Oiler fans/media, I expect the same out of Iggy. I sincerely doubt it'd happen though. The only reason I'd even be slightly concerned is because he already surprisingly had the Canucks as one of his potential preferred destinations when going into the deadline...though that had more to do with wanting a shot at a Cup, something you don't have to worry about in Edmonton.
