I am hoping with all the dog lovers here that someone can point me in the right direction...
My wife's 5 lb yorkie needs some dental work. No teeth pulled, just a good cleaning. Our vet has said they can do it, btu the dog must be put under (makes sense). The range of pricing is $800 to $1,100!
I might as well buy a new dog for that money.... (I kid, I kid...)
Are there options in/around/outside of town that are significantly cheaper for doggy dental work? I have heard rumours that places in small towns outside of town can do it for a third the price of the big city vets, but don't even know how to begin looking...
Any suggestions?
