One of my favourite Osprey's lifts off along the shores of Chain Lakes. A nesting pair has been using this spot for many years and like to dive bomb me and my dogs as we're walking past. A swish of air from behind your head and then they soar over you.
Not a great technical shot, just an impromptu one, crossing a stream with Pete and Ruby trailing . . . .

I love these shots, cowperson.
Although I do know plenty about ospreys,
I no longer know what walking in the mountains is like, or what it's like to be in fresh water in the wild without worrying about alligators.
Those things never seem to bother Clyde Butcher!
