Picking apart any potential top 10 draft pick is pretty weird especially where all of the information we have it 2nd or 3rd at hand as it's scouts that have spent all the time watching the kids. Lindholm is obviously one of the top 18 year hockey players in the world and if Flames scouts deem him the best player available and take him at 6th I will be happy just as I will be happy if they take Monahan instead. I don't pretend to know more than them and considering these two players both fill an organization need for the Flames I'm just happy that they may get one of them.
The only thing that would disappoint me is if they go off the board or take a defenseman with the pick but that's a different argument.
