I don't agree at all with having to beat out the US for a WC Finals bid. I think odds are that when Canada does host one, it will be co-hosted with the US. We will never meet the stadium requirments without a crazy dictator running the country or a massive population spike.
A 40,000 person stadium is too big for MLS, and it is stupid to build a purpose built 40,000 person soccer stadium. I'd much rather have a 20,000 person stadium.
