No religion can stand up to logical scrutiny. That is a simple truth. The intolerance I'm speaking of is when personal attacks get leveled. Calling somebody stupid because they have faith in something that defies logic is not stupid. It may be human nature, naivete, or done other driving force, but rarely is it a lack of knowledge or understanding.
The video, is a good example of naivete, mixed with some basic straw man arguments. It is not intelligently put together. Organized religion DOES have a large vocal group of idiots and con artists, I will certainly agree to that. Poor, disadvantaged people all over the world who lack education may represent a good number of believers, but so do many extremely intelligent people. Religions persecute more than atheists too.
However, to suggest that atheists aren't also intolerant at all is ludicrous

It would be mean to berate a poor, disadvantaged, uneducated person for having faith in their religion.
Challenging an educated person living in the Western world about their beliefs is not mean; it'd be remiss not to. Believing in a virgin birth, that God and his son are the same person, etc. is really dumb. Why shouldn't people who believe things they know to be preposterous be called out on it?
