I am asking the question, how do 3 solar flares, facing the opposite direction of the earth, affect the climate of the earth on any grand scale?

Without doing any research, I would say it is a fairly safe assumption the output energy of a solar flare is nothing compared to the total output energy of the sun. They are also "one off's" where the sun is outputting energy every moment.

So I am saying these solar flares shouldn't ever be brought up in a global warming discussion.
