lol my personal favorite four made it all the way. Unbelievable really.
Gotta go with Simpsons over Seinfeld. As much as I love Seinfeld I don't find that is has the same repeat value as watching the Simpsons. I find that the type of comedy in Seinfeld becomes less funny over time, so I find myself taking breaks whenever I watch the show. It might be just be, but for The Simpsons it never loses its comedic value for me, and if anything it grows funnier over time. Not the new episodes of course, but I tend to steer clear of those.
The other half is pretty much impossible to choose. The X-Files did finish on a down note, as the last 3 seasons were quite a downgrade over the prior years. And seeing that its a serial show, it does affect the quality of the previous seasons. That and the whole William storyline was pretty bad overall; it seemed they went that route to find a way to write Mulder's character off. I didn't mind the Super Soldier stuff though, but it didn't really go anywhere in the end. Oh and I Want to Believe the second movie was flat out awful.
Then with Breaking Bad it actually hasn't ended, so who really knows if the last half of the season will continue the pace that has been set already. I am going to assume it will, but there is a lot that needs to be resolved in 8 episodes in order to accomplish that. It would seem though that the writers have had a plan in place since day one, so my expectations are pretty high for the episodes that remain come the Summer.
Breaking Bad should slaughter The X-Files though I expect.
