I do thing Dawn got a bit of a raw deal. She was annoying, she was emotional, she was so annoying because she was so emotional but in the end she played a very good strategic game. She missed out on jury votes because they believed her to be so hypocritical and even fake with her crying and being emotional and then coldly slicing their throats, but that's because it was so difficult for her to lie and betray. She still did it though. She was paranoid at times but honestly she had decent reason to be, she just couldn't keep her feelings bottled better.
All of the big moves did go through her and it was her relationship-building that got her and Cochran to the end. Without her there's a decent chance Corrine and Malcolm take this game early on after the merge and Dawn (if we don't count Corrine) was the biggest reason they didn't. It was a double-edged sword though as her relationship-destroying was just a bit better....normally I feel it would be considered a bitter jury if we actually liked Dawn.
