I liked the original 24 format where you got every minute, but that made some episodes dull and boring as well. This new format will make it a lot tighter and hopefully better than it already was.
Comes out in May 2014. So another year away.

The problem with 24 was always that they had about 18 hrs worth of good plot so there would be one to many twists to extend it out. I am really looking forward to 12 episode seasons.
