I've had my Hyundai Elantra for just over a year now. Not one issue. Lots of room inside (I'm 6 foot and a big guy).
Edit: to add, I was comparing Civic, Cruze and Mazda3 at the time, and Hyundai just included a lot more for the price. Plus the build and safety tests were better.
Overall it just felt like the better vehicle.
