I would rather Mike Smith. The point is, we don't NEED a number one guy right now or shell out big bucks for one, we are re-building. We have Ramo, Berra, Brossoit, and Gillies to go through for the next 3-4 years- a very good crop. We need to see who impresses and who has what- not to mention we got Joey Mac as back up. I believe Ramo will do very good, he is the one out of the bunch who has been dominant in a professional league with great stats. Been one of the best goalies in the KHL the last few years. Being a goalie means you have to stop a puck- unlike being a foward/D-man and having to adjust to ice size, pace etc- I believe the transition is easier. I believe he is ready to go.
