2nd line centre at worst from what I've read. He has top line centre upside. Don't see this checking line centre projection that you're seeing. If that was the case he wouldn't be lumped into the top 7-8 guys.

Although the report also states that he is a high-end offensive playmaker. But if that's the case, why project him to be a defensive center?
