Agreed.
But that's a very tough contract to move in today's salary cap NHL. They very well may have to make a tough call like that to rid themselves of it.
If I was a GM in this league, I certainly wouldn't want to do Mike Gillis any favours, he's dealing from a position of weakness.

Possibly. I think he's a very good goalie though, would be a move in the right direction for Florida to have him in net, IMO.
Either way, obviously not a popular proposal, moving on.
