Yeah I'm 0 For 3 as far as CP approval goes with that proposal.
I guess my reasoning behind the proposal was:
1. The Flames get a second overall pick and get to select a potential Franchise Player and potential elite number one center. We need a new franchise player now that Iginla is gone and we have needed an elite number one center since we traded ours for Iginla 18 years ago.
2. The Florida Panthers would ironically get back Roberto Luongo, which would mean alot to them because their goaltending is sorely lacking and they need a great goaltender. I know there is alot of bias hate for Roberto Luongo because he is a Vancouver Canuck, but he is a bonafied number one goaltender and an allstar if one were to look at this objectively.
3. The Vancouver Canucks said they needed to restart things or something to that effect. Well what better way than 3 first round draft picks and unloading a goalie that they do not seem to want anymore, plus it gives them alot of cap relief.
