Steve with all due respect, even if you have watched a lot of Drouin, please watch some more of Drouin, you will get a really good chance during the Memorial Cup tournament, as it will be televised. Let's put it this way, I am so certain with his pure, world class level talent, that it will be more of a surprise if he fails to succeed in the NHL than the other way around. I understand what your saying, if one purely looks at the numbers, there are many, many players who have put up numbers in juniors but failed at the NHL level. However, if you look at his level of skills, it's not good, it's not just above average, it's WORLD CLASS. He will absolutely not fail at any level of hockey with his hands, given that he has a great work ethic, and other attributes like skating and strength are fair to above average.
In fact, I am so certain he will succeed in the NHL, I will personally make a $200 donation to Calgarypuck, and email a moderator with confirmation on that, if Drouin isn't a point per game player in one of his first 5 years in the NHL (He'll probably do it sooner, but I don't want to speak in extremes). Feel free to put this in your signature or someone will, but Jonathan Drouin is an absolute lock as a point per game player in the NHL, his skill is unreal. I will also submit that I will personally ban myself from this site, as I would have no place to be positive, worthwhile contributer on this site if I am wrong about him.
