Quality of life is so important. It makes me very proud of people that can make the toughest decision for a wee creature that is dependent upon them. Know that what you did was right. Never doubt that for one moment. Also realise that you will never forget them. The feeling of being lost will go with time and better memories will strengthen you. I am so very sorry for your loss.
