Fair enough. Like I said, everyone has their preferences. I just do not see moving Sven and the #6 pick as an overall upgrade on the prospect pool for the Flames. I will take take Sven and Barkov/Lindholm/Monahan any day of the week over a single player like MacKinnon. The talent gap just isn't there to justify it.
If he was a guaranteed generational talent like Crosby then it may be worth it but then we wouldn't be talking about moving up to pick number two or three, we'd be talking about selling the Farm for the first over all pick.
