I know we all love Sven but if the Panthers really want MacKinnon I don't think our #6 pick and Sven will get it done. I don't believe Sven carries the value around the league that Flames fans think he does. He's seen by most as a solid prospect but not a franchise player. He may be our franchise player one day but that's more to do with our dearth of prospects and elite players and the reason this draft is so critical for the organization.
