Never really thought of McPhee. His hiring of Oates was good, but that Erat trade looks horrible. Like you said he has been there for a long time. Would not surprise me if he is let go if they are bounced in the first round. No idea who would replace? I will say Hextall from your list, but thats just a guess.

I thought the. Erat acquisition was good for them. It's definitely a win-now type of move, but that is where they should be. One of Washington's biggest issues was lack of leadership and Erat brings that.
