I suppose should have been more specific and said the Cervenka situation was the final nail with Feaster for me to be perfectly happy when he's fired.

As for Hartley, Hudler and Cervenka had early chemistry when no one else did but that didn't stop him from benching Cervenka every chance he got. I remember when Cervenka was on the fourth line and Begin took a high sticking penalty so the entire line didn't see any time in the third. Benching a rookie adjusting to the NHL because his linemate took a penalty is not what we need from a coach going through this rebuild. Hartley was a great coach when Forsberg was his second line center, but he hasn't shown much since.
Wow, overreact much? I don't know what you expected from Cervenka coming over but he dressed in all but 9 games (3 were before he joined the club) and played over 13 minutes per night. hardly being benched every chance possible. and how exactly was he a bust? over a 70 game season he would have put up 30+ points, which for a 1st year NHLer that is actually a pretty good season, even for the "best player not in the NHL".

But this isn't the place for a Cervenka debate, and I really don't have much else to say.
