I would have to imagine that if the Flames wanted to move up, one of two scenarios are the only likely way it happens

1. Find a team that would be willing to move down for their guy (ex. CGY 1st + STL 1st)

2. Package the pick with a young, NHL effective player. Unfortunately I think that would consist of only: Brodie, Backlund, Baertschi or maybe Gaudreu
