Which is why a package including Calgary's 2014 first round pick might be a starting point to a package not including Baertschi or Brodie.
Wouldn't be too surprised to see Feaster trying to move Backlund, the 6th, and one of the 1st rounders to get into the top 3.
I think a bit about Burke getting the Sedins. Started with the 3rd overall pick. He made a bunch of trades starting with McCabe and the next year's 1st round pick for the 4th overall pick. Then he sent 4th overall and two 3rd rounders for the 1st overall. Then he traded the 1st overall and another 3rd round pick for the 2nd overall. Seems pretty easy in hindsight but clearly highway robbery.
