Not every franchise center is drafted in the top 3 picks. This is a deep draft year and the other center's available at our pick could turn into a franchise center as well. Mackinnon and everyone else in the top 5 picks could bust while whoever we pick at 6 could turn into the best player in the draft. I realize that is unlikely but just because we won't get Mackinnon doesn't mean we wil automatically draft a bad player. Whomever is available at our pick is a can't miss prospect and will be the best prospect we have drafted since 2003.
