Best part is that they will probably fire AV and i dont see a coach available that would be a good fit for the team. They are a veteran club so i don't think a rookie coach is a good idea. The only veteran coach i can see is Ruff. I don't think he is a good fit because Ruff is all about defence and being physical. Neither of which the Canucks are good at.

They are in a worse shape than the Flames were in 2009.... and we know how that turned out.
The Flames had to go out and panic sign Bouwmeester to mess up the team.
The Canucks already have their albatrosses from Florida: Booth, Ballard and Garrison....(and of course Luoungo) all signed for at least 2 more years.
The Flames have to resist the temptation to pick one of two that the Canucks buyout for a 1M /yr 1 year deal..... unless the Flames are really planning to tank next year.
The Flames have moved past their Florida problem with Jokinen and Bouwmeester dealt with..
