So the NHL has mandated that San Jose and Ottawa make it into the 2nd round of the playoffs? Strange. You would think if the NHL truly did rig their playoffs they would do it like the NBA and ensure that the top markets get through as the league would love to see a Habs/Bruins or Habs/Leafs series in the East and a Canucks/Blackhawks series in the West. Ottawa and San Jose are probably two of the teams the league would least want to see go on as far as television ratings go so it's simply asinine to belive that any of the playoffs is rigged.
