I've been saying for a while that I think the US is on the verge of another civil war. There is just so much tension and hate for on another down there. nothing gets done because everyone is so steadfast in their opinions, unwilling to even consider another viewpoint. There will be a violent act that will be the last straw. The government will come for their assault rifles and that will be it.
People have laughed me off thinking this sentiment is riduculous, like its never happened before. Like 150 years actually means something in the grand scheme of things. Great societies and Empires have fallen and been destroyed from the outside and inside for our entire history, but most people in our day and age seem to think we as humans are beyond those types of failures. But we're not. And its not that they're even failures. Sometimes kings have to fall for the better of everyone.
